Joe Perna

Joe Perna grew up in New Castle DE. He had a long standing passion for baseball that started in little league where he played for Stahl post and had the good fortune of playing in the little league world series. He was very talented and went on to play for Salasianum High school. He was a huge stand out on the field and received a scholarship to attend the University of South Florida. Continuing to perfect his talent he was drafted into the New York Yankees organization. See, Joe has always been a fighter and now has the fight of his life... He is battle metastatic Prostate Cancer. He has been out of work for the past two months and has missed alot of time before then due to testing and numerous hospital stays trying to fight this disease.

As you know this process can be quite expensive. The medical bills keep rolling in and this has Joe worried about the well-being of his family. As usual he is always thinking about other before himself.

If you personally know him you know he is a kind heart soul that is the first one to step up to help others in need. This is now the time to return the favor.
