Joe Price's Road to Recovery

Hey everyone! My name is McCauley Pearson and I created this Gofund me page in support for my uncle Joe Price. Joe was admitted to the hospital on June 27, 2023 because he was in a delirious mental state. It was quickly determined that he had suffered from a stroke which has left him in serious condition and bed-ridden, at this time.

Joe is known to many in the community as a beloved Pastor, brother, nephew, and uncle. He served many years with Memorial Baptist Church and Oakdale Baptist Church, and is currently the Pastor at Avalon Baptist Church.

Joe was sent home by the hospital on July 7th, 2023 because no in-patient rehab facility would accept him in his condition. He needs assistance eating, bathing, and will have to learn how to walk and talk all over again. Joe needs 24hr care day in and day out, and insurance will not financially cover this type of care. All of these expenses are coming out of pocket, which adds up quickly. Right now, Joe is being cared for my his brothers Rodney (Cotton) and Lewy Price. They are doing everything they can to support Joe, but they cannot do it alone.

My family has faith that God will restore Joe of his strength, physical and mental ability. Joe is the epitome of a man of God and I cannot think of a more deserving person. Just as Joe has helped so many in their walk with Christ, please consider helping him in his walk to recovery.
