Joe Totten medical bills (spouse of Kimberly)

Please read the following from Kimberly: 

The saying Everything can change in the blink of an eye is feeling absolutely true this morning ❤️

I recently called 911 for the first time I think ever for a family member. Joe was so sick and couldn’t stand or walk without help. 

An ambulance ride and a diagnosis of inner ear infection and vertigo changed very quickly.  

We didn’t  know it at the time but Joe had a 100% blocked artery in his brain that caused a stroke.  

He has permanent damage from this and we have a long road of therapy and recovery ahead. 

I claim it right now in the name of Jesus that he will walk again , dress his self again , take the dogs for a walk, be my shopping buddy and do all of the things that he Loves to do. 

We don’t know why things happen in our lives that can turn your world upside down but everything happens for a Reason.  

Joe has absolutely spoiled me since the day I met him.  He does so much for all of us. He is the best dad, he loves his mama and I can’t thank her enough for raising a son that Loves so hard like he does.  He has more patience than I could ever have. 

He doesn’t deserve this, we could have lost him.

I have had a huge lump in my throat since the dr told us yesterday how everything is going to be so different but I had a friend tell me last night to remember that the dr is not the one in control.  Lean on God and Trust in him she said.  Joe is strong and he is going to do great things.

Please keep us in your prayers as we try to figure out our new life right now and our new routine. He has to have care around the clock and therapy 3 times a week. This is hard and it’s tough to accept but with lots of prayers and tears we will one day know the reason and we will thank GOD for all of the little & big things that he does to heal Joe.
