Joe Winters, hit and run victim
Donation protected
On March 12th around 11 pm Joe Winters and a friend were riding home on their motorcycles. As they were about to leave Greenville they were cut off at a light by a car. The driver then proceeded to pull away from the light very slow. Joe and his buddy drove around the slow car. As they were driving away from the light the car that cut them off chased them down, squeezed his car between the bikes and their car that was following them home and ran into Joe and attempted to run over the other rider. The car did not stop, he just left them.
Joe was Careflighted to Medical City of Plano. He received massive lacerations to his face and arms. He has cracked skull and ribs, broken eye socket and thumb. There was a small bleed on the brain and in the lungs. He has had one surgery already and scheduled for another one.
Joe is a small business owner here in Greenville and will be out of work for a while. Until the Greenville Police Dept. Finds the car and driver he will not have help with medical expenses or be able to provide for his family. We are asking for anyone that is willing to help out would be greatly appreciated. His wife Amanda will be out of work during this time as will to take care of him. This is a wonderful family of four that did not deserve this. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
