Joel and Wanda floating again

Hi guys. I’ve never been in a position like this and never thought I would be, but my very best friend from the age of 10, really needs help. She’s a selfless person, always worrying about everyone else, no matter what she may be dealing with. Well, I feel like now is the time for it to be reciprocated. Those of you who know her will agree! She’s probably going to be upset that I did this but it’s for the right reasons.
Her fiancé Joel Ackerman, is in the hospital after having a double bypass-bypass, and has been without work for several weeks. Many of you know Joel. He’s worked on Shem Creek, in Mt Pleasant for 35 years and I’m pretty sure he’s a ‘known fixture’ to those docks. Lol! This man absolutely loves his job and is one of the best. It’s his life!! He wanted so badly to attend the blessing of the fleet, but because he was in the hospital, he wasn’t able to. He had surgery this past Thursday and is still in recovery. In the mean time, the bills are accumulating and Wanda is doing all she can to keep things ‘afloat’. So I feel like creating this account in good faith, will hopefully bring them some comfort.....even $5 will be more helpful than you could imagine. Once he recovers, Joel will be back on his feet, driving the Jamie Lynn, catching shrimp! Love to you all!!!
