Joel Beaton's friends seek your help

Early Friday night, September 15th, our dear friend Joel Beaton took an unexpected fall, and landed headfirst. As a result Joel suffered a massive

traumatic brain injury. He was transported to the Level 1 Trauma Center at Robert Packer Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. While on life support Joel was given continuous expert medical intervention by the Team in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit.

His wife, Marcie, was a constant at his bedside, supported by their children, family and close friends.

Over time and with extensive testing, a heart breaking determination regarding Joel's outcome, was made by his medical team. Marcie in conversation with her family and supported by deep faith, made the decision to remove Joel from life support.

Joel's transition was beautifully peaceful with his wife, family and closest friends

at his bedside.

Besides the unspeakable stress of this horrific accident and it's unexpected outcome, Marcie is faced with a tremendous financial burden. The priority was continuing the best surgical and medical care for Joel. This level of treatment came at a great financial cost.
