This is Joel's little sister Marcia. Most of you know me as Mars. A few years back I was in a very serious accident that was close to ending my life, the ugly part of it wasn't the pain, wasn't the fear. The ugly part of it was the aftermath, the struggle of not being able to work, drive, take care of myself or my life, I lost a lot and had to leave a place I dearly loved.

Yesterday night this nightmare happened to my brother in a much scarier way. My big brother was found alone and unresponsive in the woods, thrown from his car and he had been laying in the cold alone. His phenomenal girlfriend had a bad feeling after he hung up on her randomly during a call and tracked him to the scene where she called me. We stayed up all night hysterical and terrified that my brother wasn't going to wake up.

The doctors rushed in bearing a lot of bad news. Joel took a large blow to the head, very likely rolled his car after loosing control. He broke his spine, dislocated his hip, tore his liver, spleen, and kidney, he needed a transfusion and dirt removed from his face. Joel as of now has finally become slightly responsive. The family is rushing to get to him from different cities and states. The only thing I know I can give him is all my power of community to raise money for him when he wakes up, he doesn't need the stress, the pain, the worry that I went through if he can pull through this. I need you now more then anything. Joel needs you and my family needs you.

My brother is my best friend. He's the only person on this PLANET that knows how my mind works and understands me to my deepest extent. I have never been as scared in my life as I was last night. Please help. ANYTHING. HELPS.
