Joel Medina’s medical recovery

Today is day 3 in ICU. For those that don’t know what happened I will try to clarify what happened. He was involved in a car accident early Sunday morning on January 31st and was ejected from the vehicle. He was a passenger. He suffered a head laceration, concussion, “sprained “ his spinal cord and small fractures at C6 - C7, a fractured rib, and a compound fracture of his femur.
He is now recovering from an ORIF surgery to the femur which was broken in three places and was pretty shattered.
He is still a little confused, however he is talking. 

Joel has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Anything helps, and anything received will help with any medical bills he has incurred at this time and any further medical assistance he may need during this long road to recovery. 

After being home for a week, he was complaining of sharp chest pains and difficultly breathing. He was running a fever consistently. After calling 911 and rushing him to the ER they discovered he has multiple Pulmonary Embolisms and more fractures in his ribs, and lower back. We are uncertain at this time what is going on. 

My son is strong and with God’s help he will make it through this! My son Joel, my son Gary Lee, my daughter Faith Bethany and myself covet your continued prayers for Joel’s recovery and his well being. We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your thoughtfulness, acts of kindness, concern, love and prayers!
