Joelle runs for the Kerby Centre (4x4x48)
From March 5th-7th, 2021 I will be running the David Goggins Challenge, in support of the KERBY CENTRE.
I chose this charity because this pandemic has separated me from my grandmother, who has gone from living independently at the start of all this, to being placed into Long Term Care. My heart breaks as I think of her, lonely and being moved to a new home in the midst of a pandemic. If there's a population we need to have compassion for throughout all of this, it's the elderly.
I will be running four miles, every four hours, for 48 hours straight. I start at 9 PM MST in Calgary. Wish me luck!
