Hi, my name is Roddy Montes I have set up this account in hopes to reach our goal to help with funeral costs to bury my son Lil’Joe Reno Montes 20 years old, of Neola, Utah. He is a father to 2 beautiful girls Neena 2 yrs old and Leela 11 months, whom he loved unconditionally. Joe is the 5th child out of 8 children, with 3 step siblings and will be missed dearly.
Joe played football in Payson High School and Union High School, he loved basketball his favorite team was the Jazz andHeats - Dwayne Wade was his all-star player.
Joe hasn't been seen or heard from since late Nov. 2016. On May 14, 2017 hikers discovered Joe’s body near the Waterfall Canyon in Ogden, Utah, with the cause being possible hypothermia due to extremely severe winter conditions.

We hope to raise enough money to cover the basics of a burial, our family has been down on a low income state, and down on our luck. We would like to bring him back home where a big majority of his family is located in the Uintah Basin from Ogden which is a 3 hour drive.
Anything at this time helps and is greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go to the funeral expenses. As we grieve, we must also remember that in addition to these tragic losses, there is now a family facing a terrible uphill climb in the coming months.
