Joe's 26.2 for Mal and her Pals
Tax deductible
If you have never heard of Mal's Pals Foundation, they are pretty amazing. They are a MA based 501c3 nonprofit that raises money and awareness for rare disease. Their co-founders are parents to a little girl who was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called, Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome. When they heard Mallory's diagnosis, they had nowhere to turn to for the answers to all their questions. A few years later, they launched Mal's Pals Foundation. In the short 6 years they have been a nonprofit, they have raised over $175k for Best Buddies; they have given away over $50k in direct to family support for respite, hospitalizations, bereavement, equipment, etc. Mal's Pals loves to give away communication devices and applications to give individuals like Mallory a voice. They are currently working on getting physical communication boards on playgrounds throughout Massachusetts. In hearing all this, want to join me in making a difference? I was fortunate to be picked as one of five marathoners for MPF this year, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause.
