Joes Xmas Eve Motorcycle Accident Recovery Support

Friends and family, I am raising funds for my Uncle Joe after he was involved in a motorcycle accident on Christmas Eve.

On December 24th, 2023, our family got a phone call that all families dread- a family member was involved in a motorcycle accident. Joe was on his motorcycle with his girlfriend, Lynn, when a vehicle accidentally struck them. Joe is expected to be in the hospital for a prolonged period of time.

Joe sustained multiple broken and fractured bones; femur, knee, wrist, and elbow. He has cracked ribs, lost his teeth, and sustained facial road rash. He is alive and we couldn’t be more thankful.

He is scheduled for surgery Tuesday, December 26th, 2023 to repair some of these injuries.

The medical bills for this tragedy are adding up and he has no discharge date yet which means these bills will only increase. These injuries will certainly require extensive outpatient care as he heals. Additionally, Joe will be out of work for several month’s. Being a handyman / general contractor, his job requires almost all manual labor. These injuries will certainly put his job on hold and result in no income source.

Those who know Joe understand the importance of being able to work and provide for his family.
