In memory of Joey Adona

Sorry, I was a bit too late to do this for you, Tito Joey. 12 days ago, our late Tito Joey Adona was taken to the East Medical Hospital in the Philippines for chest pain. Due to lack of good health care system in the Philippines, he passed away on January 12, 2024 around 2 p.m. due to multiple heart attack. He stayed 11 days at the hospital waiting to be seen by a cardiologist and to have an echocardiogram done (after his EKG noted a blockage in his arteries). Unfortunately, he had to wait too long and it was too late. Upon his arrival to the Philippine Heart Center, in the hope to get the proper medical treatment, he suffered multiple heart attacks. They tried to intubate him and revive him but sadly, he did not make it. We are deeply devastated and heart-broken from his passing because up until his last breath, he remained optimistic that he will get better. Tito Joey was only 57 years old. He left his wife, Vicky, three children, Kevin, Mac, Aia, and beautiful grandchildren behind. Tito Joey was the youngest son of Roberto Adona Sr. He was a hard-worker and very clever (madiskarte sa buhay). He did not want to be a burden to anyone. He was a family man, he loved his wife, children, and grandchildren dearly. After working most of his life at the poultry place, delivering heavy cases of uncooked eggs, Tito Joey had no choice but to quit due to his health problem. Despite of his medical issues, he continued to be resourceful in order to provide for his family. He would cook homemade meals everyday to help his wife with their daily need. For those who know him, he was the sweetest, unselfish, and kind-hearted man. He would always have that smile on his face despite of facing hardship. With a heavy heart, our family is creating a go-fund-me to help the bereaved family of Tito Joey with his burial and funeral services. Kindly please make sure to 1. click on “Donate now” 2. Click on “Enter custom tip” 3. Type “0” inside the tip amount box. We want to thank you all. We truly appreciate all your prayers and help during this difficult time in our family. To our dearest Tito Joey, may you rest in peace. We pray that you will have eternal rest in paradise. Mahal na mahal po namin kayo, Tito Joey. Please watch over us and help our family in this difficult time.
