Joey Rathbun

As most know, Joey unexpectedly passed away. There are no amount of words that can erase the pain from this loss. Joey was one of a kind. Always cracking jokes and coming up with the goofiest ideas to make everyone laugh. His love for adventure and shenanigans will be greatly missed.

With the loss of Joey, his wife Katie and daughter Raegan are going to have to find a new normal as they navigate life without him. Katie is a hard worker and doesn’t ever ask for anything. But, she is also one of the most giving and caring people I know.

I would love to be able to come together as a community to show our love and support for Joey. Although this won’t take away the pain of the loss, I’m hopeful that will help ease some. If you are able, anything is appreciated.

Please hug your loved ones and let them know you care. Life is short and tomorrow is never guaranteed.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 29th from 3pm to 7pm at the Waukon Banquet Center in Waukon IA.
