Joey Renfro

Hi, my name is Geni Hutchings and I have the sweetest brother-in-law. If you know Joey Renfro, you know he’s a hard working dad and husband. He’s kind, funny, loving, generous, and an over-all great guy!

He and his wife Courtney do whatever it takes to provide for their family of 7.

In the last few months, at the young age of 40, Joey has been battling problems with his heart. It’s simply not functioning properly or effectively. As you can imagine, when our heart isn’t working as it should, it causes a whole host of health problems. Joey has continued to work as much as possible but has been transported from work to the emergency room multiple times.

Joey has great doctors and specialists at Baylor’s Heart Hospital in Plano, Tx. but he and Courtney have a long road ahead of them. He currently has to wear an external defibrillator and a heart transplant has been discussed.

As you can imagine, this has put a lot of stress on everyone in their family. From the stress of trying to make ends meet, to the mental and emotional stress of not knowing what the future holds.

Courtney has been taking all extra shifts available at the hospital but she can only do so much. I know this has been really hard on her as well. Joey would never ask for help but as hard as he and Courtney work to provide, and as giving as they are to others, I thought maybe we could show them our love and support my giving a little something to ease their financial burden or help pay toward the numerous doctor bills. Your prayers for Joey, Courtney, and the kids are also very much appreciated.
