Joey Roberts Memorial Fund

Joseph Hiram Roberts passed away on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 due to injuries sustained from a tragic car accident. He was 17. The family will be burdened with financial hardships due to medical bills, funeral costs, and lost wages. We know Joey’s family, friends, and even strangers who are heartbroken for his loved ones would appreciate a way to help. 

Joey valued meaningful relationships above all else in life, loving his friends with unshaken loyalty and selflessness. He had a huge heart, always having time to offer a listening ear and advice. He was most known for “Joey hugs” that would wrap around you like a warm blanket, filling the receiver with warmth and love. He uplifted his loved ones by creating laughter through a goofy personality and infectious, unforgettable sense of humor.

Filled with boundless energy, Joey enjoyed sports and outdoor activities. Amongst his favorites were soccer, football, dirt bike trail riding, and camping. He could often be found riding his bicycle around the neighborhood with friends playing Pokemon-Go or watching a beautiful sunset. Combining his love for the outdoors and hard work, Joey earned his Eagle Scout in 2021. When not outside, he enjoyed music and dancing, video games, and anime/cartoons. He loved spending time with his brother and sister and taking trips to visit his family.
