Hi my name is Michelle. This is one of the hardest things I’ll ever have to do …
Joey Stover and Trina Glasgow were in a horrific car accident in East Dalhousie, Nova Scotia on January 28th, 2022. They were headed home in a snow storm. The SUV they were driving hit an icy patch and went over an embankment. Their cargo, a load of wood to heat their home, shifted and crushed them.
Joey was pronounced dead at the scene.
Trina was airlifted to Halifax QEII and under went immediate emergency surgery for a broken neck and multiple other broken bones. She is in hospital fighting for her life.
Joey was the most amazing, kind and caring person anyone could know. He would give the shirt off his back and if he didn’t have one, he’d find one for you. Always cracking jokes and making people laugh. Anyone who knew him, knows there was no better person to have in your life.
Trina and Joey loved each other immensely. Always there for each other and others. They followed their hearts and each other from one end of Canada to the other. A love we all dream of.
Trina’s road to recovery is going to be extensive. And exceptionally painful, mentally and physically.
Joey leaves behind 4 loving children Raylene, Brandon, Mark and Johnathan. His loving brother Harman and sister Angela. And countless loving friends. Our prayers are with you.
Funds will go towards funeral services for Joey. And expenses for Trina and her family during her long road of recovery.
R.I.P. our beaUtiful friendyou have touched so many lives. I’m jealous of the Angels. Joey you will be greatly missed by all.
