Joey the African Grey vet bills

Joey is a 12 year old African Grey parrot and for the last few months, Joey has been suffering from ongoing seizures. The cause is currently unknown.

Joey is currently undergoing diagnostic trials and treatments to find a cause and may need a CT scan, medicine, and treatment for the rest of his life.

$2500 will cover the biggest diagnostic expense.

In the event Joey passes away before all funds can be used for his medical treatment, any remaining money will be donated to The Gabriel Foundation, which is an organization dedicated to parrot rescue.

EDIT: As of Jan 15th Joey has been diagnosed with avian bornavirus which has been known to cause seizures.

He will require ongoing medicine and weekly injections for the foreseeable future. All money raised will continue to go to Joey's vet care and medicine.
