Joey's employee who lost livelihood

Donation protected
The lovely Roxanne is now unemployed because of the fire at Joey's restaurant where she's worked for the past 14 years. She's on EI and searching for a new job, but it would alleviate a ton of stress and financial burden for her to have more financial security during this difficult transition. She said she's been in contact with the Drew Nursing Home about reserving a space in the event that her reduced flow of income can't meet her renting needs, so funds are needed to ensure she can maintain her current housing arrangements and afford her other costs of living in the coming months.

Any support will be appreciated <3

**Update**

Roxanne got a job at McDonald's and she starts her training next week! She is SO grateful to everyone who has donated and she said it's unbelievable how much the community has raised. Roxanne's very humble and asked me to close the fundraiser less than 24 hours after it opened, because you all are so amazing and had already reached the goal of $3000, but I decided to keep it open a bit longer so more people could show the love!! <3 Thank you all so SOOOO much!!
