Johanna Crawford

Johanna “Johey” Crawford was tragically shot and killed in her own home on December 16, 2021. Her  9 year old great-granddaughter she had custody of was also kidnapped by the perpetrator and shortly later was returned to the safety of her grandfather.  Johey was loved by so many, including her husband, Knute Huber, and many grandchildren,  great grandchildren, adopted children, children, siblings, and family and friends. She cared for so many as a pediatric nurse and touched so many lives as a CASA (court appointed special advocate) volunteer. Johanna will be deeply missed and and this sudden loss is heartbreaking.  Funds will be used to provide care for her 9 year old granddaughter she had custody of and other unexpected expenses to help her spouse.   She is pictured above with her spouse at the recent wedding of one of her grandchildren.
