It is with much concern and hope that I reach out to you today.
Johannes Karl Mueller (40yrs) has suffered a severe accident and was rushed to hospital over the weekend.
Karl’s partner, Megan George, had just recently returned to work as a public servant after maternity leave. Karl was also recently laid off due to current economic challenges.
It is my belief that while we serve our public we also serve our internal communities as well. Be it our family, friends, colleagues, or neighbours.
Here’s what we do know:
- Karl survived emergency surgery and has been touch and go since.
- Karl is in the ICU (intensive care unit).
- There is definite paralysis and Karl will never walk again.
- Medical staff will be testing lung capacity as an attempt to determine survivability.
- Unsure about brain/neurological damage at this time.
Needs:
- My hope is to supplement not only one, but two loss of wages as both Karl and Megan are of course off work and unable to predict if/when they return.
- They have a son, Wolfgang, who is 18 months old who they need to support.
- Any additional expenses (travel/pharmaceuticals/medical equipment/childcare/etc)
