Jo'heem Hamilton Family Support
Donation protected
On Saturday, May 30th, 2020, Jo'heem Lamar Hamilton's life was taken by gun violence at the age of 25 years old. Jo'heem was a child of God, a loving son, a respectful grandson, a joyful nephew, a protective brother, a loyal friend, and an amazing new father. At his core, he was heroic, genuine, and giving. He risked his health every day of the COVID-19 pandemic as an essential worker to help feed the community and support his newborn baby girl, Alayah. Jo'heem's character remained true as he lost his life protecting a friend from a fatal gunshot.
Jo'heem's physical presence is deeply missed and never forgotten by his family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones. His legacy will continue through his daughter and the people he knew and loved. If you are willing and able, please helps us reach our goal by donating to this fund. This fund will be dedicated to his daughter's education and well being.
The toll of gun violence, the COVID -19 pandemic, and the emotional taxation of black lives taken have been physically, mentally, and spiritually exhausting. These events have reminded our family of the importance of community. The realization of getting through this tragedy alone is not possible. We are grateful for any support to ease the burden from the murder of our loved one, Jo'heem Lamar Hamilton.
