John Abbott's Fight Against Cancer

As many of you know My Dear Grandfather and NHRA Hall of Fame John Abbott Sr. has been diagnosed with Cancer in the Liver and Gallbladder, doctors have told us it is Inoperable, but with the Faith in God and the strength he has I know he will fight. I am wanting to raise money to help with his care and treatment as he about to embark on his Next Race down the Track, the race to fighting, winning and beating cancer.
John Abbott Sr has always lived his life in the fast lane while Driving a Top Fuel Dragster, he has won honors, many championships, including the US Nationals in 1981 and has been inducted into The Hall of Fame. If it was not for him and his love for Drag Racing, the legacy of the Abbott family would not be still going 30 years later, and into the 3rd generation of Drag Racing. From His Son John Abbott Jr continuing the legacy with Wife Sondi driving and his Granddaughter Caylynn. His love for the sport influenced his oldest Grand Son, my brother, Christopher Abbott to pursue a career in NHRA. He has always been the most compassionate, caring, loving, and funny man who has a heart of Gold and a Passion for God. He has given so much to this family through his passion and drive for commitment in excellence, that I want to help give him the same as he embarks on the hardest Race of his life. I do not want to see finances stress him, and want him to focus on only getting well. “Johnny” as many would call him has a lot to live for, 5 Great-Grand Daughters, Presilee, Olivia, Giavanna, Peyton and Sophia, his beautiful wife, Kristy, his Children John, Carry and my mother Teri, his Grand Children, Austin, Christopher, Cameron and Myself are all pulling for him and asking for support from the other lives he has touched in all of you. I know he will WIN this fight.
