John and Angela’s Family

I am starting this fundraiser for an amazing family that needs help. This family reaches out and is often giving to others and they would never ask for help on their own. Therefore, I am asking on their behalf. John and Angela came home on Nov. 18th, 2022 (A few days before Thanksgiving) to their house completely submerged in water throughout the main floor and basement. The water caused catastrophic damage and the house was deemed uninhabitable. They lost all their valuable items in the basement and most in the main floor. They have been fighting with the insurance company to fix their home and continue the lengthy legal battle. The insurance company stopped funding their temporary housing and the family found themselves paying for temporary housing in addition to their mortgage. The insurance has not given what is needed to repair the home. During this time, John and Angela have been staying with family, friends and even in hotels. John is a Ramsey County Deputy and has had to use funds from his retirement account. He goes above and beyond patrolling many hours in Ramsey County, keeping our families safe throughout the county. John and Angela have always gone to the extreme to help others. If you know them personally, you know that they are fighting a nightmare with a child that has a progressive neurodegenerative disease. They have been told by their child's doctor that the extreme stress the family is enduring is accelerating the neurological decline. This family has continued to endure devastating events over the years and somehow they always try to stay positive. Please find it in your heart to help those who have taken an oath to protect us.

This will help fund food, and a place to stay along with assisting them in getting repairs needed to make their home habitable so they can be back in their home. Any amount you donate will help this family tremendously. If you cannot donate please share and keep them in your prayers and thoughts.
