John and Jenae Help a Hand Fund

John originally went to the doctor in mid-September for severe wrist pain from years of wear and tear. He does not have insurance, so at that time, they decided that the best way to treat the pain was with a steroid injection on that Wednesday until he could obtain insurance. Before he was able to get insurance, he developed complications from the injections. By Sunday night, his wrist was so painful that he drove himself to the ER in Great Falls in the middle of the night, where he was immediately admitted to the hospital for a severe staph infection in his wrist and spent three weeks in the hospital. He was released on October 6th. John was readmitted to the Great Falls Hospital on Monday, October 10, 2022. He is expected to remain in the hospital for at least 6 weeks. At this time, they are hoping to save his hand. The best case is that he will eventually regain the use of his right hand. At this time, he has little to no movement in that hand. He has had several surgeries to date to clean the infection out of the joint, with more expected in the future.

Meanwhile, Jenae is trying to keep things afloat at home 60 miles away. In addition to working full-time to keep the wolves at bay, she takes care of all the chores at home. As we all know, times like this bring in so many unexpected expenses on top of day-to-day living. So we are starting this Go Fund Me to help lessen her burden as well as John’s.

John makes ends meet by doing various jobs. Anyone who knows John, knows that he is a highly sot after farrier by trade, a day labor cowboy, an all-around hand and just a great person. John would give the shirt off his back to a friend in need. Now it is our turn to help John, Jenae and Colt out. We realize that we will not be able to cover the mountain of medical bills that they face, and we hope that we can help the family with day-to-day expenses until John is out of the Hospital and on his feet again.
