John and Linda Campbell's devastating house fire

Hello friends and family of Linda and John Campbell. I'm their next door neighbor writing this with some very sad news.

This morning, the Campbells lost their home to a devastating fire. Thankfully they are both safe and sound (with very minor first degree burns and slight smoke inhalation) and are here at our home. Paramedics and several fire departments responded to the blaze, but their home is a total loss. They escaped with only the clothes on their backs.

As you can imagine, they are in utter shock at the enormity of this tragedy, as are we here in our small neighborhood. We have known and loved the Campbells for years, they are wonderful neighbors. And, as many of you know, they've been suffering from some recent personal problems (John was hospitalized last year from a stroke, which he is still recovering from).

We realize that insurance may take care of a certain amount of things, but in the immediate moment, they will need help to replace things such as clothing etc. as well as cash to remedy their day-to-day needs. Any amount you can spare would be graciously and deep appreciated.

Please reach out to them in any way you can. Linda was unable to get her mobile phone before fleeing the house, but John has his phone with him in case you want to reach them. If you have any donations you can spare, please do so. This is absolutely devasting, and people as kind and wonderful as the Campbells certainly did not deserve this. We'll all work together to help get them back on their feet again.
