John Anthony Law, Sr.'s Memorial
Donation protected
Hi,
I never imagined delivering this kind of news and I'm sad doing it... My Dad, also known as Mr. John Law, Sr., passed away on January 13th, from Cardiopulmonary disease. My brother(George) and I were there when he passed - and it was awful. Then again, I'd rather remember my Dad as everyone else does and not like we saw that unexpectedly horrible day. Everyone loved my Dad. He was a rare kind of guy who would go out of his way to brighten someone's day, sometimes whether that person wanted brightening to their day or not. And to hear someone laugh, especially during a difficult time, would be his whole world. The other day I noticed that every single person in his apartment building had asked about him, with true concern. I'm left with a smile over that. We will all miss him.
My brother and I are realizing that neither he nor I were prepared for this, both emotionally and financially. We are finding it hard to cover the costs of having a proper memorial for my Dad. In this difficult time we are asking for your donation, big or small, to help pay for all of the things necessary for a memorial. We are keeping things as simple as possible because we know that times are tough for a lot of us and Dad wouldn't want anything over the top anyway. But we do want to give him a memorial he would be proud of. We can't do this ourselves.
We would love it if you would donate, no matter the size, because it will all contribute to making this a beautiful memorial for Dad. His life hasn't really been all that easy on him, so seeing him off with ease would honor him well. If you are unable to donate maybe you could share this to show your support for someone who will truly be missed.
Memorial services are still TBD because of some medical delays, but I will keep you updated on when and where we decide to have the services. We will keep everything in his spirit.
Thank you so much on behalf of George and I. We really appreciate you in this very difficult time.
