John Bruce Fund

Hi, my name is Joshua Jenkins and I’m raising money for my brother-in-law John Bruce Calliope. On the night of December 7th his lower leg was severed when a cast iron stove exploded next to him. The Washington County Maryland fire marshal’s office is investigating but for now we have no idea what could have caused the explosion. As of this writing (11:00am 12/8/22) he is in intensive care following the amputation of his foot and ankle late last night.

We know he will be needing some sort of prosthesis but additional damage to his leg could necessitate another amputation further up his leg.
