John Bynum, an amazing First Responder

John Bynum was a Paramedic/First Responder that went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2022....way too soon!

His heroics throughout the years as a Police officer, K-9 Officer then Paramedic for over 25 years has saved countless lives. He was an instructor that lent his expertise to hundreds of students throughout the years, including his spouse and children. John Bynum had a fantastic gift for medicine and people. John was residing in San Antonio, Texas, where he worked for ShurMed EMS alongside his wife of 8 years.

This GoFundMe account is to raise money for his services and arrangements. As memories flood in regarding his life as a First Responder, friend, husband and father, people always ask, "What can I do?" Right now, this is a way for you to help. Your gift doesn't have to be big; if enough people give, then the family will not have to worry about how they will afford all the arrangements that must be made.

So.....In lieu of flowers, cards or anything, his family is in need of funds to arrange his services.

His sudden death has caught us off guard, both personally and financially. The family appreciates any assistance you can send their way.

No response heard....on behalf of the Emergency Response Community, it is with deep sadness and sorrow to report that Paramedic John Bynum has completed his last and final call. He is now with the Lord and will watch over his family and friends and fellow responders. He will forever be in our hearts.

At this time, ShurMed retires 501 from active service. ShurMed is clear.
