John C. Wilson Home Fire Fund

On the evening of Thursday, March 23, 2017, at approximately 7:00pm, John received a call from his son stating that their home of 20 years was on fire.  John rushed home from a business appointment to his family, to find, just as his son had said, that their home was in flames.  Thanks to God, that although his family was home at the time, no one is hurt.  All are safe.  

John stated that the fire started in his daughter’s room, was electrical in nature and that that area of his home sustained the most fire damage.  Although the fire did not engulf John’s home, what the fire did not damage, the smoke did.  It caused considerable damage throughout the house, rendering their clothes, furniture, etc., useless.  In addition, the water used by the fire department also caused considerable damage.  Needless to say, John’s home is no longer livable.  Right now, John and his family are staying in hotel.  He is working with his insurance company to determine damages and remediation.

We, Arlin Meadows and I, ask that you keep John and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this tough time.  We’d like to thank you in advance for helping to raise money for John and his family to aid them in offsetting additional costs they are incurring.  John would never ask, but we know he will deeply appreciate it.
