John Coffey

As some of you may know we lost a special man this week, our John Coffey.

He was one of the cheekiest men we all knew with his borderline banter. He never failed to lighten the mood with his endless stories and dry humour.

John was a big part of mine and many others lives from offering a chat to unannounced visits, untold amount of dinners and even keeping a roof over our heads during hard times.

John wasn’t just the life and soul of the party, he was also a rock solid bloke who wore his heart on his sleeve. He spent 22 good years with the Household Cavalry, doing his bit for our country.

Now it’s our turn to step up for everything he done I’d like to give a bit back as he gave to many others when he never had much himself.

To honour the life of this wonderful man and to give him the send off he truly deserves, I have decided to create this go fund me.

I have created this in hope that we can help to contribute to cover the costs of his funeral and to relieve some pressure off of Tom and Laura at this sad time.

Any donations given are much appreciated and will help massively, any contributions exceeding our goal will extend John’s legacy of care by supporting Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of his late wife Linda Coffey.
