John Cooke Family

The Cooke Family suffered an incredible loss on the day after Christmas.  John Cooke Jr passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.  John leaves behind his wife Mikie and two wonderful children, 15 year old Claire and 13 year old John III.  John was truly a loving husband and devoted father who valued family and community above all else.  We are deeply saddened by his passing, but take solace in the remarkable children he leaves behind.  A number of you expressed a means to help in anyway.  John's funeral will be held on Friday, January 11th at 10:30 AM, at Mills Grove Christian Church, 5410 Fleming Avenue, Oakland, Ca.  In lieu of flowers, this fund is set up to help assist the children in this difficult time.  Thank you for all the love, support, sympathy and empathy.
