On December 8th, the Costello family experienced the tragic loss of John Costello, their beloved father, husband, grandfather, and son. Known across the community as a widely adored coach, teacher, and mentor, John’s legacy will live on through the thousands of lives he has touched over the past 25+ years. John will be remembered for his contagious sense of humor, commitment to his community, infectious optimism, zest for life, and selfless dedication to everyone he encountered.

The hope for this GoFundMe is to help his wife, Joanne, with her medical expenses, legal proceedings, and additional needs as they arise. The family is passionate about keeping alive Coach Cos’ annual Special Needs Day at Broad Run, a cause that was near and dear to his heart.
