John Dezan House Fire Fund

My brother and I are writing on behalf of our dad, John Dezan.

On Sunday, November 19th, he lost his home and his belongings in a house fire, and while the outer structure of his house is still standing, everything inside has been destroyed. Thankfully, he was able to jump out a window and make it out of the house safely.

The loss of the home that he and our mom created over 40 years ago has been heartbreaking — the loss of treasured family mementos and artifacts that cannot be measured or replaced, as well as all of the household furniture and other items.

If you know John, you probably know that he is endlessly selfless; helping family, friends, and total strangers whenever he can. You probably also know that he isn’t one to ask for help, even in a time of need such as this.

We hope you’ll consider helping us as we rally to help our dad, John, get back on his feet again. If you aren’t able to give, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, and know that we are grateful for any and all positive energy and support.
