John "Dudley" Diaz - Gone too soon!

As you may be aware, our brother, our cousin, our friend John Christopher Diaz, aka "Dudley", has been suddenly called home by our Lord to play his guitar in Paradise.

John was quietly battling some health issues over the last few years when things took a sudden turn a few weeks back. As per the doctors, the ultimate outcome was never in doubt but the timing took everyone by surprise. Gone too soon!

With his sudden departure, we ask that you, his family & friends, help alleviate some of the financial burden that John's close loved ones were not ready for. Monies raised here on this GoFundMe Memorial page will go to his son, Timmy and to John's mother Christine, to help with the expenses incurred by John's passing. Unfortunately, like so many of us, John did not have Life Insurance.

At the time of his passing, John was happily living in Wilmington, NC with his favorite person in the world and his best friend in life, his son, Timmy.

There will also be a Benefit in John's honor this coming Saturday, February 3rd, at Reif's Tavern on 92nd Street between 1st & 2nd Avenues. This event will start at 2:00pm and last as long as Yorkville wants it to. John was born & raised in Yorkville and we ask that all of our fellow neighbors, family and friends come out to show their love and support for John and his grieving family.

John, we love you and will forever remember you; but now it's time to play those strings with the chorus of Angels for our Lord Jesus Christ. May you Rest in Heavenly Peace our Brother!
