John E. Cisneros's Funeral Donations

Dearest friends and family members,

It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved father John E. Cisneros on April 7, 2023. He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his wife, Maria Cisneros, and sons, Harry, Mark, and John Cisneros.

John E. Cisneros was a wonderful husband to our mother, and father to us, his sons. He was a great provider and always put everyone else’s needs first, usually at the peril of his own gratification or satisfaction. His whole purpose was to provide a launching pad for his sons to soar and thrive in their own lives.

To many outsiders he was a man of few words, however, once you earned his trust he would reveal his true jovial nature. The tragedy of it all was how few people knew how funny he really was. Whenever he’d get together with his friends or family there were roars of laughter coming from the “grown-ups” table as they would trade hysterical observations with each other. Watching our father be at the center of it all was a point of pride for us. We’ll miss you, Dad. We know you’ll be watching over us as we try our best to make you proud.

As everyone knows, funeral expenses are staggering. This along with the past decade of medical costs for my father has taken its financial toll on our mother. We want to honor John’s memory and give him the funeral he deserves. Please consider donating to help with these expenses if you can do so. A visitation for John will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Holy Family R.C. Church, 175-20 74th Ave, Flushing, NY 11366. Followed by a private cremation.
