In memory of John Eric Swing

Our wonderful son, father, brother, and husband John, tested positive for Covid-19 last week and due to several complications is now in very grave critical condition fighting for his life at Fountain Valley Regional.
We are certain that many of you love John as much as we do. Whether you are a beloved cousin, a treasured friend, a loyal fraternity brother, Marine, co-worker - you know that John is the sweetest, kindest, friendliest, gentlest, most loyal, caring, and loving person this planet has ever seen. He has been there for us in so many ways and at the drop of a dime, he'd be with you. We hope we can be there for him now at this difficult time.
As a family, it has been a particularly devastating situation because we are unable to safely be at his side and help him through this sickness. We are unable to even be with each other. PJ, his younger brother, and his family are in Costa Rica and I, Karen - his younger sister, is in Oregon with my family. John's incredible children, Zachary, Joshua, Chloe, and Mackenzie are in the Inland Empire, his loving parents, Ellis and Aurora, are safe at home in Murrieta, and his wife, Ellen, is herself recovering from Covid symptoms at home in Westminster with her children Sasha and Niko.
We are reaching out to you to share your love and prayers for our dear Kuya because your stories and love give us strength. It gives John a fighting chance to keep his bright smile in this world with us awhile longer.
Please consider donating to help alleviate some stress for Ellen and for John's kids as we prepare for the future with or without him. Your contribution would help Ellen offset any incurring medical bills and other payments. We are also hoping to help his children, especially Chloe and Mackenzie who are still in high school and elementary school, with any basic necessities and school funding they may need in the future.
Thank you all for your thoughts. John loves everyone so much. He is our heart and protector, our loyal friend and confidante, our caring and most generous soul. I know he is lifted by the strong community of family and friends he has near and far.
Stay safe and hug your loved ones.
With so much love and appreciation.
