It's finally happening!
Work is in process to transform the grounds at Lexington House, the care facility where John Erling Stark spent his last days. As a living memorial tribute to John and a thank-you to the staff who became his second family during the more than a year when they cared for his every need, the grounds are being renewed for the use of future residents at this special place.
There will be new plants, trees, water features, walkways and a gazebo with dining area for future patients, visitors and staff to enjoy.
Your contribution to this beautiful memorial will guarantee your invitation to its dedication and will honor forever the memory of John Erling Stark, Dr. of Laws, MBA, DTM, our hero and friend.

John Stark was a beloved member of Toastmasters International. As part of District 5, he followed in the legacy of Helen "Homer" Blanchard, the first female Toastmaster in the world by serving District 5 in many ways, including as District Governor. She once stated, "If you get out of Toastmasters all that you can get out of Toastmasters, you'll never get out of Toastmasters." John lived this reality, staying part of this community until his passing. Thus, it was fitting that he was the most recent recipient of the District 5 Helen Blanchard "Trailblazer" Award, acknowledging his service to others with our core values: respect, service and excellence. I am honored to be part of this project to honor John with a living memorial.
