On Friday, September 30, 2022, John was allegedly shot inside his home in front of his family by a friend (due to ongoing police investigations, we cannot speak in detail about the events that happened). He had to be care flighted from Brownsville, Tn to Memphis, Tn, where he has had multiple surgeries and blood transfusions, was on a ventilator, had been in a coma, and is still in ICU.
