John Fullenkamp Memorial Fund
Donation protected
My brother John died in a tragic farm accident on Saturday, June 16. He was pulling farm equipment when rear-ended by a distracted driver and ejected from the tractor. John was a husband, father, brother, son, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
We are asking for donations to help support his wife Leah, a special education teacher and their 4 young children: Eliza (9), Henry (6), Molly (3) and Greta (9 months). Money will be used towards funeral expenses, immediate costs and also an educational fund for his children.
Between his job as an electrical engineer, farm life and raising a family of 4, John was in constant motion and one of the hardest workers I've ever met, all while keeping a smile on his face. He was kind, funny and a rock in our family. His kids adored him and will miss him greatly.
I am grateful to have spent time in the days before his death visiting. I loved watching him toss a football with Henry, Molly using him as a jungle gym, giving kisses to sweet baby Greta and constantly helping Eliza with her creative projects and inventions. I will miss seeing him walk in the door in his dirty jeans, work boots and his classic sleeveless t-shirts.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of support and love from the community, family and friends. It has made this extremely difficult time more bearable.
Thank you so much,
