John Gardner - Help Bring Live Music to His Celebration : )

You're invited to join us for a special evening to celebrate our wonderful friend, John, and all the joy he brought to our lives. We'll be gathering for an evening filled with the music he loved most—Reggae and Ska—along with shared memories, laughter, and the warmth of friends and family.

In honour of John’s incredible passion for live music, we’re raising £1,500 to bring awesome band, Reminisce (@reminiscereggae), to play at his celebration. We’re thrilled to also have a guest appearance by the legendary Dave Barker (dave_doublebarrel_barker), plus a special performance by Neville Noyan who will be playing a piece he composed especially. This live music is for John—he lived and breathed music, especially reggae and ska. He was always on the move to see live performances, traveling far and wide for the artists and sounds he loved.

Our evening will be complete with delicious Caribbean food, generously prepared by Mick and Naana Watson—think comforting, flavourful dishes that John would have loved. We'll also have a vinyl DJ spinning John's favourite tracks to keep the vibe alive all night!

Everyone is welcome to join us, whether you’re able to donate or not. But if you’d like to contribute towards the band fund, we’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation, big or small, will go toward giving John the lively, music-filled celebration he deserves.
