John & Jenn Kennedy (funeral for their daughter)
John & Jenn Kennedy received the phone call that no parent should ever have to receive. Jenn’s daughter (John’s step daughter) was found deceased on Sunday. Those of you who know John & Jenn know that they are the some of the most giving, thoughtful people on the planet. They are the first to jump up and help people. John, himself has organized MANY fundraisers. Even the chainsaw event he is currently organizing is to benefit first responders & veterans.
Their daughter, Brittany was also a giver, animal lover and took after her thoughtful family. She is gone too soon at age 25.
Please help this family who has always been quick to help anyone else, friends & strangers alike!
Obituary: Brittany Nicole (Uglow) Simpson, 25, of Orrstown passed away on February 6, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1996 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to Christopher Uglow and Jennifer (Divens) Kennedy. Brittany's life was built around her family, her friends, her dogs, and her job. She loved inspirational signs and sayings, loved children, and loved taking pictures and memories. She had a smile that would light up a room and everyone who was a part of her life was blessed to be there.
Brittany is survived by her parents, Christopher Uglow and Jennifer (John) Kennedy, her grandparents, LuAnn Uglow, Barbara and David Miller, and John Divens. She is also survived by her brothers Darrien Uglow, Dakota Kennedy, Steven Overcash, Mark Piper, and her best friend Taylor Kump. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dennis K. Uglow, Sr., and her second mom, Robin L. Uglow.
A visitation for Brittany will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 5:00 PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with Pastor Stouffer officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
