Hi my name is Annie mckissack I am raising this fundraiser on behalf of my partner Mark Chambers his dad sadly passed away suddenly just over 1 year ago marks struggled massively dealing with the loss of his father dealing with his own mental health issues aswell now having lost both his parents we have just managed to pay John's funeral cost of having struggled for months leaving ourself in poverty doing so John's partner of 12 years passed mark his father's funeral arrangements and said I don't have a pot to piss in u deal with it knowing marks dads wishes were to be buried and learning the cost the funeral was going to be bearing in mind we stay in glasgow and John's stayed in Newcastle she paid 200 pound towards her partner of 12 years funeral which was over 5000 pound and kept his house with all his valuable belongings refusing to pay anymore and not even attending John's funeral my partner done what he thought was best at the time and kept to his dad's final wishes by burying him not realising the cost and further costs for a headstone which is gonna be 1,746 including council costs to lay the headstone mark and myself are struggling massively since john passed away now we have to try pay this as quick as we can to get john his headstone at the moment there is just a wooden cross which is causing mark distress everytime we go see it... its a complete mess and John's family are not willing or able to help mark at this terrible time he's dealing with enough now has all this stress to and I am trying my best to help mark but I am struggling to with the cost of living at the moment and being on the sick unable to work just now I just thought I would put this fundraiser up to try help mark take away a little bit of stress and if anyone can help at all with anything at all it would mean so much and I mean that from the bottom of my heart this would help mark and myself at this difficult time to get marks dads headstone I feel so embarrassed having to do this but I've tried everything and this seems to be the only solution to help I've never experienced anything like this before with my family and I feel heart sorry for mark having to deal with this on his own I know it's his dad but family are supposed to help and stick together at a time like this not just leave john how he is it's heartbreaking I just appreciate u having the time to read our story and if u can donate anything at all to help it would be greatly appreciated thankyou ❤️
