John Kinsella passed away suddenly at home on May 6th, 2019 at the age of 46, in North Bergen, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ September 11, 1972, John spent his early childhood in Bayonne, NJ before moving to Randolph, NJ. He graduated from Randolph High School in 1990 and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. He worked for many years, in the city, as a legal secretary while pursuing his true passion, acting. In 2001 he moved to North Bergen, NJ, where he lived until his passing. He and his wife, Kathleen, married in 2002 and welcomed their twin daughters, Lily and Ella in 2009. He was a loving and devoted husband and father to his “ladies”, as well as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Always up for a game night, be it Trivial Pursuit with friends or Apples to Apples with his nieces and nephews. His was good-natured and quick-witted – constantly ready with a joke. His jovial nature was infectious, and you couldn’t help but laugh at his silly antics. He loved singing and quoting musicals and listening to true crime podcasts, Hersey’s chocolate, and a cold coke. When all was said and done, he was happiest at home, in his pjs, watching a movie with his ladies. Survived by his wife, Kathleen Powers, and their daughters Lily and Ella Kinsella, mother Maureen Kinsella (nee Shea), sisters Marleen Kinsella and Teresa Jones (nee Kinsella), brother and sister in law Jim and Therese Powers (nee Puso), brother and sister in law Peter and Nancy Hacker (nee Powers), nieces Katie Powers (Callum Munro), and Fiona Powers, as well as nephews Mathew Powers, Jimmy Powers, and Brendan Powers. He is preceded in death by his father John D. Kinsella Sr. and brother in law Michael Craig Jones. A memorial was held Saturday May 11, 2-6pm at Leber Funeral Home 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087. In lieu of flowers for the services, his family requested that donations be made to the National Headache Foundation.  This GoFundMe campaign has been started by his friends, otherwise known as "The Farm Gang" to raise funds for his wife and daughters.  All funds will go to his wife, Kathleen.
