John Klamert Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Friends and family, we need your help! As many of you know, John was diagnosed with esophagus cancer and coronary heart disease earlier this year. On September 21st he underwent quintuple bypass surgery. After a successful surgery, he followed up about 6 weeks later with an esophagectomy – as John puts it, it’s an ugly procedure, don’t look it up! The surgery was also a success and the thoracic surgeon believes all 32 nodes biopsied were clear – all negative for any spread. That also means, no need for chemo!

While both surgeries have been successful, there have been a few setbacks. On December 6th, John was readmitted to KU Medical Center with an infection in one of his incisions. He remains there so they can keep an eye on the infection.

Obviously during all of this, John has not been able to work his two jobs, one as a dispatcher at the Buchanan County EMS, and one with the State of Missouri. Along with the hefty medical bills, John has two teenage daughters, as well as the usual bills to pay. We are asking for your help. Let’s show John how much he means to us!

We appreciate your generosity – no matter how big or small.  Every little bit helps!

Thanks for all your support. Keep the prayers and positive vibes coming!

Thank you,

John’s Family
