John Kunkel's Medical Relief Fund

Hello Friends of John Kunkel, 

Sadly, John was diagnosed with COVID-19 on July 3, 2020.  He has been in and out of the hospital and is now battling pneumonia.  So far, his Mom, Emmaline Kunkel is doing fine as John is keeping his distance.  John's medical bills are out of control, can you help in anyway?  John has a ton of friends and just a simple $1.00 would go a long way to help him with his medical bills.  

I have communicated with John since the beginning and it is very humbling experience for him to ask for help, but sometimes there just simply is no other way. 

John and I worked together at Walmart Home Office in the Pet Department from around July 2007 until May 2009.  I really enjoyed being around his humor and great sense of Walmart Merchandise.  

John's story began in February of 2000 where he began in the Walmart Apparel division in Bentonville, Arkansas.  John later moved to the Pet Department where he oversaw all things dog such as kennels, collars, leashes, apparel, and toys.  John left Walmart in November of 2010 and moved to Phoenix to work for the pet giant PetSmart.  

After spending a few years at PetSmart, John was called to go back home to be near his family so back to Bentonville he came and was a Senior Brand Manager in Apparel.  The commute to and from his family’s place in Evening Shade, Arkansas became too much, and John moved back home in July of 2015.   Since then he has been running he family farm and taking care of his parent’s.  

Please consider giving if you can, John is a fighter and with our prayers he will battle through this illness!
