John Laub Sr. Medical Bills and Expenses

Hi, my name is John Laub Jr. and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my father, John Laub Sr. As many of our friends and family know, our father got diagnosed with cancer just before Christmas. My sisters, Amber and Tiffany came down to St. Pete's beach to see dad and we all met over New Year as we needed to get a plan of action with where to get him seen and treated. Amber got him in the Mayo Clinic right away in the first week of January and we now know he has stage 4 lung, liver, and brain cancer. This is small cell that is more aggressive and moves faster. We are a family of faith and action so dad chose to jump into treatment so we can try to combat this enemy. My sister Amber has set up a caring bridge page as well which tells the entire story and steps we have taken to this point.

We are looking for help to cover some of these medical costs and expenses that are incurring. My father is a prideful man and doesn't want the help but it truly is needed and my sisters and I would appreciate any help we can get to alleviate some of the financial burdens that are starting to mount.

Our father is one of the kindest and most amazing personalities on this planet! We had a New Year's Eve party at his favorite Saint Pete's beach bar and hundreds of people came to see him before he left for Minnesota. Everyone loves our father because of how much he loves everyone else. He is fighting this battle, and it's been a very painful battle in just the beginning of this journey, so he can have more time with his family and also ALL of his friends who he holds so dear to his heart. We all know he is one of the best dancers around and has the rhythm of Elvis and loves to dance with all his friends!
