John & Laura get through this difficult time

Hello,

I am setting up this GoFundMe for two people who have hearts as big as the sky.

A lot of you may not know Laura and her husband John personally, but you know of them through me. Laura and I have been best friends for 24 years and her and her husband John are wonderful, caring and generous people!

This last weekend they went through something so terrible. John was admitted to the hospital and put on stroke alert. He had drooping in his face, numbness and couldn’t walk right. After an MRI they ruled out a stroke.

They did a spinal tap and things got worse. He began having numbness and drooping on the other side as well. After a second MRI they discovered he had had not one, but TWO mini strokes. He had to spend 4 days in the hospital. All this after he just had to have surgery on his foot to remove 3 toes due to his ongoing battle with diabetes.

John served in the military for many years and after has always had a job to help provide for him and Laura. They are two of the hardest working people I know! They are always there to help absolutely ANYONE in need. They NEVER ask for help and so I am doing that for them.

They are about to be slammed with hospital bills, John will be out of work for quite awhile due to the lasting effects of these strokes. They will be in fear of the unknown and if this will happen again. They will be going from a two income home to a one income home. Laura will be the only one bringing in any sort of money and it’s all too much for them to have to deal with alone. These funds will help with monthly bills, appointments and transportation to said appointments since he is unable to drive at this time and Laura works.

I am here asking you all to help me help them in this time of need. If they have ever touched your life in anyway please give back. ANYTHING helps. It all adds up in the end.

John stressing right now is absolutely horrible for his health. Let’s try to relieve even a little bit of stress off them!
