John Millard Album Please support and Share

Hi everyone! My name is John Millard. I’m 17 years old and I've been playing guitar for 11 years. In the past 2 years, I've worked with some really talented musicians and have the opportunity to make my first album! I've been saving as much as I can but need your help to raise the additional funds needed to record a professional quality album (John Millard Band), hire professional musicians, in a professional environment. The recording will take place at Joyride Studios in Chicago with Grammy award-winning engineer Brian Leach and producer/engineer/guitarist Pete Galanis. I got in contact with Pete after the Nick Moss Band played with him at his Tuesday residency at Rosas Lounge. Ever since, Pete has been one of the best mentors I could ever have asked for. My goal is to make my debut album and feature some of the artists that have inspired me and helped me to grow as a musician. The rhythm section will include veteran blues drummer, Pooky Styx and the very talented Jae Gentile on bass. These guys push me and make me play to best of my ability and I’m very excited to get in the studio with them!

As you may know, these types of projects are not cheap! I still need to pay for studio time, mixing, mastering, pay the musicians, album artwork, publishing, CD duplication, and also to help distribute and promote my Album.

After my dad passed away last year, I made it a goal to make it in the music business and this album is the start of that journey and with your help, I can achieve my goal.

I would like to say thank you to my dad for giving me inspiration. and my Mom for driving me around everywhere and keeping me going
