John Munson

With a sad heart I have to announce that my father, John Munson, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Cancer on October 5, 2021. Since this troubling discovery my dad and I have fought very hard to attack this cancer. He has endured 9 rounds of radiation treatment and underwent a malignant brain tumor surgery, yes brain surgery, all within two weeks. My dad was and is resilient. He is a fighter and in his own words "he had a plan". I was so impressed with my fathers strength and how well he was doing after all that's been said. Unfortunately he hit a wall of regression Monday October 25 and has not improved since. My father is a proud man and also a very private man. I want to let all his friends and family know he did not want anyone to see him in this position. In light of his rapid decline, I am hoping to raise money to be able to celebrate my father in a beautiful way I know he would love. In addition to funeral and memorial services, I'm asking for any other donation for me personally to help me take care of extra costs of taking care of his home and back bills through the winter as I adjust to living on my own. Today I had to put my father on Hospice care. I am so thankful and so appreciative for all the great family and friends my dad has had around him through the years.
